Topps 1951, #22: Bob Feller. Today in baseball history back in 1950, Cleveland Indians starting pitcher and future Hall of Famer Bob Feller signed his new contract. After a down season in 1950 in which he won 15 games, the right-hander takes a $20,000 dropping his salary to $45,000. Oh and the pay cut…it was Feller’s idea – imagine that?
