Florida State freshman 3B/C Jaysoni Beachum, a former Tennessee Mojo-Danley/Fisher player, has joined the Dugout Chatter Blogging Crew and she will be providing her insights and analysis all summer.
Beachum is an early enrolee at Florida State where she has begun taking classes. Her final stats for the Manatee Squeeze of FGCL: .682 AVG, .724 OBP, 4 HRs, 3 SBs and 21 RBIs.

This past weekend was the last weekend I played in the FGCL summer league. I enjoyed every moment of it. What made this weekend so enjoyable was being able to play against the Florida Vibe, a professional softball team based in Bradenton, FL.
It was such an awesome experience because the players on the Vibe were the players I watched on TV growing up. To get an opportunity to play against them was so amazing. Also, playing against some FSU alumni family definitely put a smile on my face.
I’m so glad I was able to play in this league this summer. I was able to make new friendships with amazing people that I will cherish forever.
For the rest of the summer, I will finish my classes and continue to work out with my strength & conditioning coach at FSU.
