2025 C/3B/1B Kendall Wells, considered one of the top 2025 prospects in the nation, committed to Oklahoma on Wednesday.
Wells batted .475 with 11 HRs and 58 RBIs to help Georgia Impact-Sampson place 5th at the PGF 18U Premier National this past summer. She hit .783 with 10 HRs and 23 RBIs for North Oconee High in Georgia last fall.
“I am super excited that I was given the chance and opportunity to be a part of this amazing program of elite coaches and athletes!” Wells said. “I will be playing alongside some of the best athletes in the country that will always push me to my best! But the thing that has always stood out to me since I’ve been going to camps and was very obvious on my visit was how much of a family atmosphere the team at Oklahoma is. The girls on the team are always with each other on and off the field! Because it is far away from home, I knew wanted a team and coaches that feel like family, and that is exactly what is at Oklahoma!”
Oklahoma is the three-time defending WCWS national champion. 2025 RHP/1B Sophia Bordi of OC Batbusters-Stith committed to Oklahoma on Tuesday.
