2025 3B/C Anna Hinde, who is considered one of the top 2025 prospects in the country, chose to commit to Florida State, she announced on Twitter on Wednesday.
Hinde is a two-time NCISAA 4A state champion at Charlotte Christian High in NC. She batted .606 with 13 HRs and 41 RBIs for Charlotte Christian as a sophomore.
Hinde, who has a 1.67-1.68 pop time, plays club softball for Team NC 18U-Hinde. She played in the PGF All-American Futures Game this past summer.
Hinde said she narrowed her choices to the top 6 after Sept. 1, which was the first day 2025s were allowed to have contact with college coaches.
“My goal was to try to find my perfect fit before our fall travel ball season was set to begin in mid-October so I scheduled six visits in five weeks,” Hinde said. “My first visit happened this past weekend at Florida State University. I already knew a lot about their program having attended many camps over the past several years and had a clear understanding of how important team culture is for the Noles. FSU was always a top school in my mind, but I thought I would visit a few schools before making a decision. The last day of my visit, prior to our final meeting just before the football game, I had the ‘when you know, you know’ moment and it was crystal clear. At the end of our meeting I told my future coaches I wanted to be a Nole!!”
