Club Team: Firecrackers-TJ/Franco 14U
Graduation Year: 2027
Height: 5-foot-7

Travel Ball Summer Stats (so far): 2.13 ERA and .481 batting average. I’ve been clocked at 65 mph and I’m usually in the top 3 for home runs on my team.
Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? I’m now playing with the team that I opposed over the years since I was about 6 years old. It’s now run by TJ Houshmandzadeh (and Chris) Franco. TJ is the head coach and is a former NFL player. I joined up with them about three years ago.
Tell us about your high school team? I’ll let you know next year when I’m going into the 9th grade (at Sierra High).
What are you working on/focusing on this summer to help yourself become a better player? I’m working on my pitching, focusing on my spins to produce good movement.
What have you faced/overcome in life to become the person you are today? I have to be honest, I have not had many major challenges, yet, in my life. The biggest hurdle for me as a player has been the occasional injury and the road back from them.
Which player/team has been your toughest opponent and why? Up to know I would say the (BSC) Bengals team we faced in the PGF championship in 2020 when I was in 12U. There was not one easy out in the lineup.
What are you looking for in a future college? Good support of teammates that compete at a high level and a college (that) offers an exceptional education.
What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I’m not really sure, yet, but I’m thinking something in the medical field. I enjoy helping others.
What’s your favorite subject to study in school and why? My favorite subject is history. I think it’s fascinating to learn about our past.
Who is your sports hero and why? My favorite sports hero was Michael Jordan. I admire his tenacity to be the best.
What’s your favorite book to read and why? My favorite book to read was “The Outsiders.” It was just a great story.
What’s the best hype song and why? “GEEKALEEK” by OhGeesy. It gets me going!!!
What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? I don’t really watch much TV. I’m never home.
What’s your favorite movie and why? “Transformers” … because it’s action-packed.
Do you have a secret talent/skill? I play club soccer and I can juggle a soccer ball with my feet very well.
