ILLINOIS CHILL GOLD

Head Coach: Gerry Quinn

Twitter: @ILChillGold

Outlook: The roster is comprised primarily from last year’s 18U team, which finished tied for 9th place at the PGF 18U Premier Nationals, and last year’s 16U team, which finished tied for 7th place at the PGF 16U Premier Nationals. They are headed to PGF 18U Premier Nationals this summer. “The pitching staff features three top 100 pitchers,” Illinois Chill Gold coach Gerry Quinn said. “The staff is anchored by the experience of two seniors — Minnesota-commit Jessa Snippes and Coastal Carolina-commit Kate Ryan.” There is an immense amount of power available this summer with Alivia Bark, Emma Kavanagh, Ainsley Muno, Jessa Snippes, Eden Echevarria and Brooke Klosowicz trading off spots in the middle of the order. There are plenty of table setters in the lineup too and offense looks to be a strength of the team.
