Tell us about your travel team/organization and how you became involved with them? I joined the Peppers when I was 12 (years old). I started off guest playing with them and then soon joined the team. I really loved how the environment was more than just a team, it’s a family.

Tell us about Warsaw High’s softball team and how you did? My high school team has put in a lot of hard work in season and offseason. The hard work we put in this year got us a District championship title. We fell short in quarterfinals, but plan on making a state run over the next two years.

What are you working on/focusing on this summer to help yourself become a better player? This summer, I’m working on executing each pitch I throw. Before I throw each pitch, I think about where I need to spin the ball and how much it needs to spin to execute the pitch.

What have you faced/overcome in life to become the person you are today? I have had the dream of playing college softball since I was little and I’ve sacrificed a lot outside of softball to be where I am today. I’ve made some of my best friends through softball.

Which player/team has been your toughest opponent and why? The toughest team I’ve faced so far was the Hotshots in the IDT. They have a stacked lineup that can hit from top to bottom and it was difficult to throw past them.

What are you looking for in a future college? When it’s my time to commit, I want to find a college that automatically feels like home to me. I want to be in a really positive environment full of other great athletes.

What areas are you interested in future occupations and why? I would like to go into Speech Therapy because it would give me several options like working with younger kids or older adults.

What’s your favorite subject to study in school and why? English is my favorite subject to study in school. It comes (the) to easiest to me and I’ve always enjoyed reading and writing.

Who is your sports hero and why? Jordy Bahl is my sports hero because she is a very hard-working athlete. I admire her for leaving Oklahoma to play for her home state to be more than just a softball player.

What’s your favorite book to read and why? “It Ends With Us” (by Colleen Hoover) is my favorite book to read because the whole story keeps me on my toes and I’m excited for a movie to come out about it.

What’s the best hype song and why? “Stir Fry” by Migos is my favorite hype song and it’s a song my high team listened to before every game.

What’s your favorite TV show to binge and why? “The Vampire Diaries” is my favorite show to binge watch because there’s eight seasons and it never gets old.

What’s your favorite movie and why? My favorite movie is “I Still Believe.” It’s a movie that inspired me to get baptized and have a stronger relationship with God.

Do you have a secret talent/skill? No. I wish I could say I was a good singer, but I have no hidden talents.
